Privacy Policy

Effective April 2, 2026. For how orders, shipping, returns, and promotions work, see Terms of Sale, Shipping, Returns, and Refunds, and Discount and Promotion Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Rettmark Firearms (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use rettmarkfirearms.com and related checkout and email communications.

2. Information we collect

You provide:

  • Contact information when you email us or subscribe to updates (for example, email address).
  • Order and checkout information such as name, shipping address, billing address, email, phone (if provided), and cart contents.
  • Payment information is processed by Authorize.Net (our card processor). We do not store your full card number on our web servers. The processor receives the data needed to authorize and settle the transaction.
  • If you enter a promotional code, our systems process that code together with your cart and checkout details to determine eligibility; see our Discount and Promotion Policy for customer-facing rules.

Automatically collected:

  • Basic technical data such as browser type, general location derived from IP, and pages viewed, through normal server and security processes.
  • Security verification: Checkout may use Cloudflare Turnstile (or similar services we configure) to process tokens or signals and help distinguish human visitors from automated abuse.

3. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Process and fulfill orders, calculate tax and shipping, and communicate about your purchase.
  • Send marketing emails only if you signed up; you may unsubscribe using the link in those messages.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the site; detect fraud; and comply with law.

4. Sharing

We share information with service providers who assist us—for example, Authorize.Net for payments, Cloudflare (including Turnstile) for delivery and abuse resistance, email delivery, and hosting. They may process data only on our behalf under appropriate agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or integrity of our business and customers.

We do not sell your personal information as that term is commonly defined in U.S. state privacy laws.

5. Cookies and storage

The site may use cookies or similar technologies for essential operation (for example, cart persistence in your browser), preferences, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit cart or checkout features.

6. Retention

We retain order and contact records as needed for accounting, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes, then delete or anonymize where appropriate.

7. Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact us at the email below. We may verify your request before responding.

8. Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where allowed by law.
